Journaling: It is said that there is one true love for everyone, but it is up to us to find them. Sometimes it takes us a second time to recognize who that person is. Mary Ann and David dated in high school and then married other people and raised their families. Fait works in many different ways and sometimes it gives us a second chance to see what is before our eyes. A little over 30 years later they met again and are now happily married. It has been 10 years since they said I DO and they are a testament to LOVE.

Love and Trading Cards of the Articist Type

Digitals was our next stop on this fun and exciting journay. Our challenge was to creat a total of 4 Artist Trading Cards. Each partner would create 2, one about our partner and one about something/someone we love. Then one of us had to take all 4 cards and create a single layout to showcase them. The only reqirments were that each card had to be 2.5 x 3.5. We could use anything we wanted and make them as artsy as we wanted to.

Being Selective with Color

For Challenge Three we got to visit Scrappers Online and had a fun time playing with color. The basic directions was to have a focal photo with selective coloring, at least 20 words of journaling and a date element. This is what we came up with.

My Partner

Our first challenge was hosted by NDISB. We had to introduce our partner with a layout that included a picture of them and was a scraplift of one of their layouts. Sounds easy right? Ask a few questions, get a picture or two, look through their galleries and there you go. It is a lot harder then it sounds but Angi and I created 2 wonderful layouts for this.

Here is the one Angi did of me. The picture is of the day we brought Victor home from the hospital back in 2001.

And the layout of mine that she lifted.

Here is the one I did of Angi with a picture of her family on a Disney Vactaion with Capton Jack.
and the layout I sraplifted of hers.
